Children |
While we have been able to confirm the Keith's death (and hence his birth date) and Edith's marriage, we have not been able to find details of their births under either Payne or Templar in Victoria, WA or New South Wales. Therefore, Henry and Edith must have born in some other state. We have given them the surname Templar because that is what Keith used at death and Edith used at marriage. |

Notes | As Henry's father John used both the surname Payne (his mother's name) and Templar (his step-father's name) at various times, then so did Isabella. Henry's birth was registered as Payne though he seems to have used Templar at the time of his marriage and the birth of his children. At his death he had again reverted to the name Payne Henry's death certificate does not record a wife or children. Neither does it record the place of his birth thought it does give his parents as being John and Isobel Payne. Henry was co-respondent in a divorce petition in 1891 (1891/74) between Alexander and Margaret Goldstein. |
